Alternative Medicine in los angeles? Help asap!?

Hello! Thanks in advance for reading this!

My mother has a few conditions and one she just found out about which may require extensive (and quite intimidating!!) surgery. It’s something along the lines of cervical spinolosys? (spine issue). I’m not sure how to spell it exactly. She also has an autoimmune disorder, muscle pain, hashimoto’s thyroid syndrome, etc. lots of things!!

My question for you is: Do you know of any alternative medicine places in the los angeles area that are (preferably) on the cheaper side that could be of assistance to her!? Or…any professional that I could talk to? I realize this is just a website and I’m not sure if you guys are doctors are not (prob not! lol), but maybe you might have some advice or something? Ugh.

Hi,

I am not living in the U.S. and don’t know people living in L.A. but I know a bit of Jin Shin Jyutsu, a Japanese healing art.

You can find an exercise here :

http://www.jinshinjyutsugent.be/en/mainCentral.html

You can do this on your mother, but don(t overdo if you do it, as her condition is quite severe. I would only do 2 minutes per hold, to begin with, 3 times a day if possible.
You can add a step, where you hold the left hand at collar bone level for the thyroid.

For muscle pain, you can try to sandwich the ankles, right hand on the inner ankle (between ankle and heel).
Just hold, don’t press, and observe the pulsations or other sensations, 5 minutes for each ankle.
There are other Jin Shin Jyutsu holds for auto-immune and so on; all depends on how much time you want to spend on it. Whatever you will do, it will take time, so it’s good that you can do it.

She can also do things on her own, like crossing her arms and holding the collar bones, a bit like the Egyptian’s did. Holding the fingers, http://www.jinshinjyutsugent.be/en/fingers.html , is something she can do herself.

Tell her not to overdo, as she is not used to this kind of work.

And about the surgery, she can hold the groin area, a little above the bend of the leg. This is a hold I do for people before and after surgery.

So remember, just hold and feel for sensations, relax the shoulders while holding, so you don’t tension up yourself too much, and let things happen, nothing should… , just be present and don’t expect things.
