should I get a cochlear implant for my right ear?
Ok, So I am Hearing Impaired for both ears. My left ear is moderately impaired. When I put my hearing aid on for this ear. It becomes near perfect meaning i can pick up sounds greatly. As for my right ear, It is almost completely deaf, when I put hearing aid on for that ear. It does not really help as far as my everday life. I was just wondering would a cochlear implant really help my right ear to become just as good as my right ear?
You should talk to your ENT. You may not be eligible for a cochlear implant if you highly benefit from use of a hearing aid in one ear.
