Can I wear my Hearing Aids at airport security?
I’m going on holiday tomorrow and I’m worried that when I go through the metal detectors it will beep and i’d have to get searched?
Also these new body scanners they might think I’m a terrorist? Should I just pop them in my checked baggage as I don’t really need them all the time?

There is not enough metal in a hearing aid to set off a typical metal detector at an airport. Most wires used inside are not much thicker than a couple of human hairs, and all the circuitry is on a microchip.
The biggest metal object inside a typical hearing aid is the battery, which on most hearing aids is still very small an highly unlikely to set off a detector.
The new body scanners work differently and I was told when I last flew through Tulsa that I didn’t even need to remove my jewelery because they didn’t pay any attention to that.
Security are used to people who wear hearing aids, and glasses etc. They are not going to get mad that you have hearing aids in your ears, and I doubt they will even ask you a question about them.
