How do you get rid of Ringing Ears?
2 hours ago, my friend had one of those horns where you blow it at football games. We were in a room where it echos, she blew the horn right next to the right-side of my ear on accident, for a minute i couldn’t hear on my right. Now i keep hearing ringing and it feels like my ear is plugged. Does anyone know what i can do ?
Wait about a day and see if it goes away. If it doesn’t you are screwed because you now have tinitus ( look it up). There is no cure for tinitus. It is permanent damage to the little “hairs” (not really hair) in your ear that transmit sound. Although there are a lot of home remedies that I have tried and spent money on, none work. I bought a book about it and there are a lot of suggestions, but none of them work. The book also said that in some cases it can cause insanity. I haven’t felt any of that coming on , but I keep an eye out for it. I have had it every day for 10 years after a buddy fired a handgun next to my head.
It sucks …. and you can sometimes filter it out but other times it is deafening. If you mow the lawn or go to a loud bar…. you can forget about hearing for a day or two because the ringing is so loud. Also I find that different foods make it ring louder, but I don’t bother because it is not that much of a difference.
Tell your buddy he is a dick……..
